Garima is a documentary filmmaker, independent social sciences researcher and freelance journalist based in London and Mumbai.

 

Her wide-ranging interests include global power structures/economics, religion, tradition, climate change, inter-community dynamics, and built environments.

Garima is a recipient of the EU's Erasmus Mundus Svaagata scholarship (2013-2016) and the Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship 2018. She graduated from the University of Groningen with a Research Master in Religion and Theology.
