Is the Hindutva movement casteist? – Part II

Most arguments used to label the Hindutva movement as casteist fall through on closer scrutiny. This is not because scholars have failed to do ‘enough’ research, neither does it point at a need to find better arguments for labelling Hindutva casteist. Rather, it is an indication that there are fundamental, foundational problems in these criticisms. If we are able to identify these problems, new and exciting possibilities lie ahead in the journey to understand not only the Hindutva movement, but India itself.
